Inquisitionās aesthetic isnāt anywhere near cartoony enough for me to also accept that kind of gate as ānormalā in the game world. Most NPCs and the PC look fairly life-like even if they are still stylized. But then we have FemInky running around like her back is made of rubber lol.
Is there a way to change specialization? I'm up to the point where I get to pick a specialization for my mage. I've done all the prerequisite quests, now I just have to choose, but I can't make up my mind. I don't want to pick one and then decide I dont like it so I've been avoiding choosing one.
All of your companions have a fixed specialization tree that more or less replicates the specializations available to Hawke, while putting their own spin on it (Isabela's is a souped up Duelist, for example). On the other hand, Bethany/Carver always get Force Mage/Templar after Act 1, during the brief moments you can play as them anyway.
In DAI, Templar is actually pretty good. It has a great self combo (which I believe is actually the highest damaging ability in the game) and can close the green portals near rifts which make up a large portion of the game. For an AI controlled character, I still prefer champion but Templar is definitely a solid player choice.
